It was a risk signing up for a drama course because, as he said, “I was terrified to get up in front of people, but I really enjoyed the storytelling part,” he explained to People magazine.
He wasn’t that good in college, and quit school before getting his degree. It was the late 1970’s and he still had not made it as a big time actor and was working as a carpenter to help pay his bills.
Even studio executives were not impressed with him. As a matter of fact, one studio official went so far as telling him, “You’ll never make it in this business.”
Imagine for a moment how you would feel if someone told you that you’d never make it in the business you loved.
One day while building a doorway in a studio, Lucas who was casting for a new film spotted Ford. He asked Ford to read for the part with other potentials. Lucas soon realized he had found his man. The film was a sci-fi adventure movie called ‘Star Wars’. This film soon became one of the most popular and successful films in its day, and Harrison Ford’s role as the likable con artist Han Solo would set him on the path to become a super-star.
RISK and why we resist it: even if it means setting us on a path to success and happiness
At one time or another in our life, every one of us is faced with a choice that involves risk. Maybe you want to move to a different State or Country, quit your job and start a business, begin a new relationship or move to a different home.
All of the above decisions involve RISK
Risk is unpredictable and uncertain. You’re going off into unfamiliar territory. You may lose face with your family and friends or you may lose your life savings. You could risk humiliation and criticism, or have to start all over again. The rewards could be great, but then so can the cost.
When you think about taking a risk, people typically don’t like this word in any aspect of their life, especially in finances and buying a car. It’s more annoying when you take a risk buying a car and end up on the short end of the deal.
No one wants to entertain the thought of getting a bad deal on his or her car
There is so much fear and warnings online today about how you should protect yourself from getting taken for a ride or ripped off. It’s depressing when you go on line to try and figure out the best way to buy your next car.
The headlines are filled with fear, negativity and anxiety

The list goes on and on, but I’m sure you get the idea.
It’s no wonder so many people are distrusting and afraid to buy a car today
We want you to know that there is still a place where good old fashion values are alive and thriving. A place where you can get your vehicles and not have to ever be afraid of getting ripped off or taken advantage of.
So let’s take a look at what makes us so different from other dealers
The sole reason for our business at JFR & Associates is to “take the risk out of the car buying process for our clients.” We represent you and have your best interest at heart, at all times.
We also know that no one wants to be sold a car.
That’s why we don’t use any high pressure selling techniques. What we do is give you a great car buying experience.
Here’s what one of our clients wanted you to know…
“The real reason to contact Mike is because of his
appreciation for each customer…”
It would be easy to say just go see Mike for your car. However, when you hear NO so many times, you get to question the integrity of people when they tell you they can help you. When Mike says “YES” I can help you get a car, he means it. However, this is not the only reason why you should visit him.
He has been doing this for many years, and he takes customer service as the first priority, and the sale of their vehicles second. It has been a blessing to find Mike, and I would encourage anyone, before buying anywhere else, give them a chance.
You will not be disappointed.
Thanks guys from our hearts.
